But it wasnt always this way.

I used to look in the mirror every day and search for my flaws… Id pinch here and there and ignore all the good that was there and just see the bits that didnt look like in the catelogues…

I used to count everything I ate, Id know all the macros and how much carbs were “allowed” and stress myself fucking sideways that Id eaten too many and would store it as fat…

I used to train myself into submission each day, thinking that if I didnt kill myself in the gym EVERY session then I would go backwards –

It was SO much EFFORT!

I was constantly focussed on the THINGS that I did, rather than the person I was…

Slowly, I began to change my thoughts.

I looked for all the good features on my body…

I let go of the fucking OCD approach to food…

I exercised based on what made me FEEL good rather than what was “right” or what “worked”…

And lo-and-fucking-behold –

Looking awesome became easy…

And because it was easy –

It LASTS.

Imma say that again since it is the fucking KEY to this motherfucker –

IT LASTS IT LASTS IT LASTS!!!

So yeah, redefining who you are on the inside may take some work for sure –

Have you ever stopped and thought for a moment that maybe you DONT want to lose the weight? That deep down you actually dont really want to look like that future version of you that you picture in your mind?

Stay with me though here because I am going to reveal something to you that I doubt you’ve considered before and if you spend 60 seconds reading this then you may just have a motherfucking EPIPHANY as to why you haven’t lost all the weight yet…

We’ve had some mind opening and soul expanding conversations with our mentor this week while staying with her on the beautiful Gold Coast and as I write this I am sitting in her beach front apartment 40 or so stories above the beach listening to Schoolies erupt below.

One of the conversations was around why we haven’t yet hit our next level money goal (and of course there is always a next level) and she asked us a curious question –

Who does not hitting that goal allow you to be?

At first we reacted in the same way that you probably did – with mild annoyance and being a little triggered…

I mean, why the fuck wouldn’t we want to make more money, when we love what we do so much and get to see so many lives changed for the better?

We are living the dream…

But as we allowed the question to sink in, we began to realise that maybe there was a reason that had held ourselves back from going to the next motherfucking level.

You see, in our minds the idea of next level success had to come at a cost to our family.

We had the idea that to create more income, meant working more hours (and we already work a lot as it is) and that this would impact how much time we could spend with our kids and each other…

There was also a part of our business that we felt like wasnt something that we could continue to do week in week out forever…

In our heads –

Success equaled being disconnected parents…

Success meant less time with each other…

Success meant not loving every part of the journey…

Of course, going next level doesnt mean this at all!

There are a million ways to make money but our limiting belief had cut us off from even considering the possibilities available to us.

What I learnt from having dinner with 2 of the top health and fitness gurus from Australia

Last night we were sat around a table with some of the biggest influencers in the health and fitness game – people who are really changing the game when it comes to getting client results.

Now, when i say that they are the biggest influencers, Im not talking about celebrity trainers who slap their face on a brand while a team of people create cookie cutter workouts and one-size-fits-all meal plans (which is the norm) –

Im talking about real people –
Leaders –
Who actually know a thing or two about how to get clients in amazing shape –
Who work daily IN their business and interact with clients –

AND…

Who CARE like motherfuckers about the people that they help enough that they arent simply selling the same old fitness industry bullshit about high protein diets, cardio, weights and blah blah just to make a buck.

Of course these guys like us are still making a buck, since what we do with clients actually gets results and that tends to get you repeat business!

The conversation flowed (lubricated by some delicious wine) and I wanted to share 3 things that I feel will really help you.

1. Eating brekky is totally unnecessary
Literally NO ONE around the table last night ate their first meal before 9am –

And the average was 11am.

Now Im not saying that there is anything wrong with eating brekky, you can lose weight just fine if your meals are on point.

Weight Loss Solution #1: leave your first meal until later in the day and it makes losing weight much easier.

2. Supplements mean jack shit if you arent eating really food
Maybe you are like a lot of women and you think that there are 10+ different supplements that you have to take to lose weight?

Ya dont.

In fact the opposite is true, shakes and pills are basically useless unless your real food intake is good.

Supplements are only useful to correct nutritional deficiencies and you will ONLY know if you get blood work done.

Weight Loss Solution #2: Focus on food that comes from the land and the sea and not protein powders or vitamin tabs unless you know you’re lacking.

3. It doesnt have to be hard or boring or restrictive
One of the funniest conversations was about all the stupid old school things that we had done while trying to look beautiful and fit!

Things like –

High protein diets…
Low carb diets…
Not eating fruit…
Eating every 3 hours…

And just generally becoming OCD about every little aspect of our diet and training.

Weight Loss Solution #3: Lose weight in a way that you find enjoyable, easy, naturally attractive and fun!
Dont force yourself to follow a diet that you think will “work” if the idea of it gives you a migraine 🙂

The path that works for you will feel natural and you will actually ENJOY the process –

So the results will come easily.

So there you go, some really simple suggestions from the country’s best in fitness. Maybe you were expecting some deep and powerful secret, something that made you go A-HA! That’s what has been missing! If only I’d known earlier…

But the truth is that the solution has always been simple…

It just has to be done each day, every day, on repeat –

Until the results come.

With about 5 minutes of research we just bought a new $1000 mattress…

Its something that we have been debating for ages since our current mattress is such a piece of shit (ok really its just old, its actually a good one) but have been resisting because it felt “unjustified.”

You know how the story goes –

We told ourselves that we dont really NEED it right now…

It’s almost xmas and we really should spend that money on presents or seeing family…

Besides, our current mattress isn’t that bad, it works fine and surely its not making that much difference, right?

Wrong.

We have been staying with a friend this week and she has new beds in her guest room and… OMG the difference in our sleep has been amazing.

And of course, with a few great nights sleep – EVERYTHING is just soooo much easier! We have crushed out some of our best work lately plus had some major inner shifts happen so that we know that our next program (coming REAL soon) is going to be fucking EPIC!

So, we did a quick search online and bought the best freakin mattress we could find.

And I gotta tell you – even just clicking the BUY button has reduced my stress levels by about 23.7%!!

It reminded me how much doing things that make you FEEL good is so important to being healthy and relaxed AND –

LEAN!!

Being lean and having abs in about SO much more than just what you eat and how much exercise you do –

The TRUTH is that anything you do that reduces your stress or increases your happy vibes makes you leaner –

And the opposite is also true.

Anything that you do that makes you feel stuck, trapped, forced, stressed or restricted will increase your stress hormones, which, we all know now –

Makes you gain weight and feel more tired.

This is why following the rules is never gonna work for you beautiful, it just makes you feel like you’re living in a cage rather than running free…

I mean, of course you have to eat real food and do some exercise, im not saying that you can sit on the couch and eat Pringles and just because you feel good that you wont gain weight!

But what I want you to fully ABSORB is that there are no rules as to how it has to happen…

You dont have to eat protein 3+ times per day…

You dont need to avoid fruit because of the fructose…

You dont need to thrash yourself with crazy workouts…

You dont have to avoid carbs or fat or anything that you really love…

You dont have to do ANYTHING you dont want to do if its going to make you feel trapped, restricted, anxious or out of flow!

And even more to the point, the MORE things you do that make you feel happy and that raise your vibration will raise your happy hormones and make you LEANER!

So, crunch time baby!

What have you been resisting, avoiding, scared to take action on because of fear of failure or uncertainty on how to step forward?
